WRITE YOUR OWN TEXTBOOK CHAPTER

You are asked to write a section of a textbook on the topic of solving word problems. Based upon your current knowledge develop a written description/process/procedure for solving word problems.

Be as original as you like and use what ever illustrations or examples you feel would be helpful to a beginner trying to learn how to set up and solve word problems.

By original I mean you may use interesting examples, tell a story, write a poem.... what ever you think will get your readers attention and make a strong impression on them.

Please type your text section. You may hand write equations if you chose to use them in your examples and descriptions, but the text should be typed.
