Respond to the following:

 

  1. How does El Niņo affect the Pacific Northwest?  What aspects of the environment in the PNW are particularly vulnerable?
  2. How are La Niņa impacts to the PNW different?
  3. How do El Niņo impacts vary across the United States?
  4. Choose two widely differing regions of the world and determine the El Niņo impacts at those locations.
  5. Write a paragraph that states your understanding of the global effects of El Niņo.
