Portfolio Assignments

Winter 2009

Portfolios should be organized in the following order.  Neatness and organization are important.  All items should be bound together and fastened into a three hole punch binder.  PLEASE DO NOT USE PLASTIC PAGE PROTECTORS.

The following items should be included in your portfolio:

1. Sunrises and Sunsets
2. Planetary Orbits and Kepler's Laws
3. Spectroscopy of Stars and Galaxies
4. Planetary Research
5. Eruption Plumes of Io
6. Hertzprung-Russell Diagram (to be inserted just before submission)
7. SETI - the Drake Equation (handed in separately)
