The Elcano Project brings self-driving vehicle technology to bicycles. It makes open-source technology available to students and hobbyists. If ultra-light automated renewable-energy electric vehicles were used for half of America's urban trips, the daily carbon savings would be 22 coal trains. http://www.elcanoproject.org
