Website Plan
During this week, create a website plan that will guide your work throughout the rest of the process. Using complete sentences, write a clear and complete description of each of the following elements:
- Web site topic / title of the site: Choose a name for your site so that we can refer to it easily
- Target Audience : List all of the different types of people to whom the site should appeal, for example, Teens, women age 20-40, all those interested in learning to cook outdoors, etc.
- Purpose of the Site: In one or two sentences, clearly describe the intended purpose of the site. Is it to sell, persuade, inform, motivate, educate? What different topics is it going to include?
- Comparable Sites: Provide at least three URLs for sites that are similar in audience and purpose to your proposed site.
- Main features of the Site : List all of the main features of the site, things like the important content, photos, a forum, a contact form, frequently asked questions, etc.
- Personality: List a set of words or phrases that describe the feel or personality of the site. You list should help describe what emotions the site evokes, how you would like a person to feel after interacting with the site.
- Limiting Factors: Thinking about who your target audience is, decide what limitations you would like to put on your site. Do you expect your users to have fast or slow connections? What type(s) of browsers will they have? How comfortable are your user's with technology and using the computer or mobile device?
Discuss your website plan with another person in the class and the instructor. Give/get feedback regarding how clearly you/they understand the audience, purpose, features, personality and limiting factors of the site.

- Comment on another class member's website plan. Provide feedback about at least three elements of the plan
