Personal Website: Final Revision

Upload the final revision of your personal website to the web server for viewing. Please be sure the link to your personal website from your portfolio is easy to find. For those who wish, we will have an optional lab session the last day of the quarter to celebrate your acheivement this quarter view each other's website work.

HTML - Site uses best practice standards appropriate to well-structured, self-documenting HTML code. Code validates as HTML.

   

CSS - At least three different external style sheets (typography, layout, and effects) are used consistently. CSS positioning is used effectively.

   

Content - Clearly conveys the purpose of the site. Contains elements, which brand the pages as belonging in this particular web site. Corrected spelling and grammar throughout.

   

Navigation - Consistent navigation throughout the site. Clear, easy to understand labels let users know where they are at all times. Navigation links easily back to home page.

   

Design - Thoughtful design reflects the site tone and personality. Colors selected from the palette create an attractive, functional site. Styles applied consistently throughout site.

   

Images - Enhance the personality of the site and stored in appropriate formats. Image licensing information is clearly provided in style guide.

   

Compatability- Site displays and functions consistently in both Mozilla-based browsers and Internet Explorer

   

Functionality - Rollover-effects and interactivity work in predictable ways. Forms (optional) are appropriate to the site purpose.
