Week 1 - What is Culture?
Overview: This week we will become familiar with the course, get to know classmates, begin setting up teams, and fix technical problems. We will also look at the culture concept. By the end of the week you will:
- know the anthropological definition of culture
- understand the various levels of culture
- know how cultures change
- recognize the nature of language within its cultural context
Please note: The text file contains all of the lecture material. Lectures are broken down into short videos in order to expedite viewing for students with slower internet connections.
