literal sense; the Cambrian explosion is actually a period in history,
from 570-530 million years ago, in which a huge
variety of life
emerged on planet Earth. Fossil records determine a rapid
introduction of new life during a time in hisotry called the "Cambrian
Period." Many theories have been created to try to determine the
sudden boom of life, but many contridict each other. New
theories are still being created today, and many are controversial to
different groups. The Cambrian Explosion is a very relevant topic
because by determining what happened in the past, we can learn about what
could possilby occur in our
