Late add policy: If sections are full, I will add students after the second class session of section 01 (9/29 class) and section 03 (9/29 lab) IF there have been students who failed to attend the first two sessions. Priority will be given to students on the wait list, in order, who have attended both of the first two class sessions.

Winter quarter: There will be two sections of CHEM&161 (contingent on enrollment) and two sections of CHEM&162. See the on-line class schedule.

Laboratory Information:

9/28, 9/29 Laboratory: This session will cover lab orientation, procedures, and safety.  No experimental work will be carried out, and safety goggles and lab notebooks are not required.  If this session is missed, it may be repeated at the start of lab on 10/5, 10/6.  The lab manual (purchased at the Bookstore) will be required for your lab on 10/5 or 10/6. If the Bookstore is sold out, the Introduction and the first experiment (Measurement and Error) are available on electronic reserve for this course.
