Chapters 1 through 3, 5 through 13, and 16 of Cracolice. Elements, compounds, and nomenclature, development and use of the periodic table, measurement and uncertainty, proportional functions and conversion factors, linear functions and graphical analysis, ionic and covalent bonding, the shapes and polarity of molecules, the mole and Avogadro’s number, reactions, stoichiometry, solutions and dilution.
In the event of college closure (weather, power failure, or other reason) or instructor absence, all course content and materials will be posted on Canvas.
Overloads: I will accommodate up to two overloads from the wait list in priority order. If you are wait-listed for section -01, please come on Monday 3/26 by 8:30 to see if there is space. A final decision will be made at the end of class on 3/28.
